Mesh-connected network of clusters
- Each cluster a shared bus system of four processors
Memory architecture has 4 levels
- Processor level (Local Cache Access 1 clock)
- Local Cluster (Access shared memory over bus - 30 clocks)
- Home Cluster (Access shared memory in home cluster via the interconnection network - 100 clocks). A home cluster is all clusters on the same ROW.
- Remote Cluster (Access shared memory in Remote cluster via the interconnection network - 135 clocks). A Remote cluster is any cluster in a different row.
